Why identity politics doesn’t matter… Black black faces in high places are little diff in their benign neglect/antiblackness than the opposition. They talk a good game yet invest zero in real grassroots, in educating the masses on black political education… zero in those who have the ear and influence with our youth or in the streets. Zero in building black institutions or the infrastructure that will empower and put us on a path to self sufficiency. Nada on a blueprint for independence from the Democratic Party and NPIC. Not a dime. Not covert. Overt. Or under the table. They lead pep rallies and talk all that rah rah shit on social media but when it comes to putting money and resources where their mouth at, crickets. For many of us all it takes is a pep rally.
