Voter apathy is so high “Kinloch’s new Mayor. Williams beat Kinloch’s current Mayor Eveyln Carter 29 votes to 18.” You read that right. The new mayor’s offense? Lying about paying personal property taxes and driving without a license… I don’t have a problem with this, I have a problem with selective enforcement. Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed lied about paying his personal property taxes several times while running for re-election and he was not impeached. Alderman John Muhammad was arrested for various traffic offenses and was not impeached. If this is gonna be the standard, lets not stop at Kinloch, let’s use it to clean house.
