Thus far Kim Gardner has not offered a defense to any of the allegations or evidence against her other than this is all political, the same defense Gov Greitens offered before resigning and the same defense Steve Stenger offered before being sentenced to federal prison.
As for claims of a racial conspiracy, that makes for good headlines, but is difficult to prove. She would have to show that everyone named as a defendant conspired. Not agreeing with her agenda, critiquing her job performance and being against using tax dollars to pay for 5 attorneys to defend her against charges of unethical behavior during her Greitens investigation does not make a racial conspiracy.
This is not to say that racism doesn’t exist in City Hall or the police officer’s union. Or that Jeff Roorda isn’t a racist. Or that they don’t want Kim Gardner removed. The question is whether she can prove they conspired to remove her from office.
A pdf of her 32 page lawsuit details many of the incidents that made headlines, even Mike Brown, but nothing specifically about her or that would have prevented her from doing her job. https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/stltoday.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/4/33/43333b30-6f60-5b51-8d61-8d776ca99538/5e1cf23c9dd73.pdf.pdf
Kim Gardner didn’t file this lawsuit on behalf of the community she was elected to serve or victims for who have been denied justice, she filed this suit seeking personal damages. We get nothing. And just like when she went on a Soros mission to get Gov Grietens for her own political aspirations, she is not fighting for us.
