This movement did not start with Black Lives Matter, Deray, Shaun King or nonprofits. They did not take it international. We were already international news when they came, they found us watching the news like everybody else. They came, raped, robbed and pillaged, took credit for our efforts and took the spotlight off our plight and diverted it to a multihundredmillion dollar lobbyist machine that exploits black deaths, suffering and pain to fuel issues of those outside our community and rally the black vote for the comforts of others.
They all got new lives, new careers, new comeuppance.
