Mike Person’s time in public life goes back over decade and included unsuccessful bids for office and serving as a committeeman in Riverview. Aldridge does not posses the the type of experience we need moving forward. Violent crime is high, children are dying and economic and social riffs are widening for blacks, reform efforts are being resisted, pro-reform legislation is being rescinded and black leaders, even progressive ones have not created opportunity or brought tangibles back to their wards/districts. 5 years post Ferguson black leaders don’t even have a plan. The reality of our situation calls candidates that possess certain skills. We need immediate relief now. Any black, any Dem and leaders ‘selected’ by default won’t do.
