We’re approaching the 4th year anniversary of the murder of Michael Brown and Ferguson uprising and what do we have to show for it? Our movement was hijacked with the assistance of ‘movement leaders’, black clergy and ‘prominent protesters’… the sacrifices and efforts of those who took to the streets and faced soldiers, tanks and teargas are attributed to Black Lives Matter. A few folks had their lives transformed… they’re living lives they would never live had Mike Brown not been murdered and they did not have an opportunity to exploit his death for a personal comeuppance. A few token negros get to be the new black faces in high places. Tens, perhaps 100s of millions of dollars have still not been accounted for… to this day there has not been a public auditing of money funneled in Ferguson. Nor has there been a call for an investigation into the murder of Darren Seals by any of those who stunted in the media after his death or at his funeral.
