The region is violent… one of, if not the most violent in the nation. This didn’t just happen overnight, it happened as a result of decades of neglect, blight, unaccredited schools, lack of opportunity, low paying and dead end jobs, poverty and high crime that was allowed in certain areas has now spread throughout the region. It is the result of generations of Democratic policies and rule that killed any type of civility or good will within the community. It was replaced with a mean spirited, fuck you, we gonna get ours at your expense and use force to impose our will attitude perpetuated from former Gov Nixon’s office down…. to the Mayor’s office. To Law enforcement. Criminal element is simply following suit. <br><br>Not gonna police their way out of this. We are well beyond that. The culture has to change. And it won’t as long as those who created it, benefit from it or turn a blind eye to it are in power.

Violent day leaves 7 shot in St. Louis City and County

ST. LOUIS - It was a violent Wednesday afternoon both in St. Louis City and County. Back to back shootings left several people injured, one critically. Jennings Police are busy combing the neighborhood of the 9200 block of Shadydale Road. Police received a call for shots fired just after 2 p.m.
