The NAACP is a joke… before they go embarrassing themselves any further they need to ask black members and former members of the St. Louis City Council like Wesley Bell and Hazel Erby why they voted to approve these contracts. Stenger’s transgressions were not possible without consent of Ferguson’s historic black city council.

Previous Post Not surprised. At all. It takes years, generations to get a bite at the apple, and it’s not guaranteed. We’re lucky if we get one bite, that’s why we’re still seeing ‘black firsts’ in 2019. Its important when we get those bites we make them count by using them to our advantage. Kim Gardner squandered the opportunity she was given by taking her eye off of what would advance our plight and instead going after a sitting governor of the opposing party…. on the flimsiest of evidence, something any prosecutor knows is political suicide regardless of party or race. Playing dirty cost her the moral high ground, her reputation and support. And more than likely her job now that the excitement of a black first has fizzled out. When they want you in, they allow you to run unopposed. When they want you out they run one of their own against you.
