The diff between black faces in high places and them… they keep their eyes on the goal, preserving the status quo. And rre willing to fall on their sword to do so. Black leaders don’t do that. As soon as they’re elected they forget the goal, become consumed with keeping their job/being somebody and are easily assimilated into the machine. This is why Bob McCulloch’s legacy will live on and Lewis Reed’s won’t.
