The biggest hindrances to black progression are 1. We don’t know who we are. Most of us don’t have a clue, we simply exist, programmed to go through the motions, to march to someone else’s drumbeat, to be the work mules, not owners. To vote for someone else’s best interest, not our own. To resist any attempt to change our circumstance. And to be governed by white folks, white politics and white Jesus. 2. We don’t know the reality of our situation. They keep us entertained and living vicariously through black celebrity and black faces in high places. Our history diminished to movies and documentaries commidified by movie studios and streaming platforms we don’t control. Our struggle, commodified by Nike, Disney & the NFL then sold back to us. 3. We engage in identity politics, follow wolves in sheep clothing, black puppets and spokesnegros. And allow the wolf to chase us into the jaws of the sly fox. A blueprint for black stagnation.
