Someone inboxed and asked me my thoughts on this… Anger. Angry that it takes the NY Times to validate in a lot of people’s eyes what they watched us go through for the past 4 years. Anger that there is no mention of Darren Seals who paid the ultimate price… that 4 years after the death of Michael Brown and the birth of the movement sparked by his death no one in this piece mentioned how HE suffered, let alone the suffering of hundreds of activists who don’t have the voice of the NYTimes, allies or resources they have. The fact that corporate media is still picking, choosing and controlling the narrative. <br><br>Individualism is killing the movement, activists are outshining victims.

They Push. They Protest. And Many Activists, Privately, Suffer as a Result.

At least five activists pushing social justice agendas have died over the last two years, drawing attention to the pressures they face.
