My mission has always been to offer an unapologetic black perspective on events happening internally and externally...
From the outside looking in you may think you have me figured out, you don't. People who've know me for years will tell you that. I'm tested everyday and everyday I learn new things about myself.
What motivates you does not motivate me. I am not looking for a grant, a comeup or to get on. I'm trying to get free and if I can't accomplish that in my lifetime I will leave breadcrumbs, lessons learned and a blueprint for those who come behind me...
My movement isn't for everybody. Not trying to build a huge following of folks who don't get it, want to debate what they think vs what I personally experienced, witnessed first hand or studied/researched... or people who straddle the fence, who know this shit is wrong, but keep supporting misleadership out of misplaced loyalties or because they think they will get a few crumbs thrown their way.
I do not support people just because they're black. Some of the biggest exploiters of our commuity and movement are black.
I hold black leaders to a high standard and black movement leaders to an even higher standard.
I don't engage in gender war, colorism or sexual identity war or any of the other means we separate ourselves. I'm black before anything else.
I do not support those who do not support unapologetic black media. If you don't support, don't ask for my support. This right here is why I had to back up off a lot of folks who claim to be down. They prefer uninformed masses that can easily be exploited.
I do what I do because it is the right thing to do... not for kudos, likes or to be liked.
Donations are appreciated, I'm 4 years in, I'm prepared to do this work with or without. If I had to wait for the masses of so called 'woke' or movement folks to support the work I've done over the past 4 years wouldn't be possible.
To those who support my endeavors, thank you. I may be one voice, but I represent the voices of many who have no voice and the voices who make my voice possible.
