People think it’s as easy as voting or replacing one elected official with another… or electing protesters or activists. Here’e the thing… 1. The system is corrupt. New officials don’t change the system, the system changes or minimizes them. 2. Replacing one elected official with another official who has zero experience and can be easily manipulated as a result is not a good look, especially when their lack of experience results in worse policies we all have to live with. 3. Newly elected protesters and activists don’t have power, they become symbols of change not agents of change. 4. I see a lot of protesters/activists running Hillary style campaigns… no platform, just vote for me, I’m not him. 5. There’s no strategy. No game plan. They get in there and within months with few exeptions, they become part of the problem. This is by design.
