Our reaction to allyship/whiteness… too many of us buck, we defer, we back down, we suddenly lose our voice, we don’t challenge, we go along to get along, we will even undermine and throw our own under the bus to personally reap the benefit of allyship… instead of using the benefit of allyship to advance our cause, the way allies us to advance theirs… quid pro quo.
