More black St. Louisians are waking up to the notion that black faces in high places does not equal black representation or black power. Bosleys have been in power for generations. All you have to do to see what this has meant for black people in the region is look at the condition of black St. Louis… Look at the many, many, many issues impacting black residents. Look at the continuous downward spiral. The Bosleys like so many other political dynasties are simply taking up space, relics from when black leaders were not expected to lead, they were expected to follow the direction of white folks, to go along to get along, to be black token representation and get broke off in the process. The reality is the Bosleys like so many other black political dynasties never fought for black people. They built nothing. They have not empowered black people. They bring no knowledge, experience or know how to the table beyond how to manipulate the election process in order to pass seats down like inheritances. These white establishment Dems who’ve owned them and other black dynasties for generations don’t take them serious. #PlantationPolitics101
