Look at our communities… at what point do we turn our attention to black leaders who allowed this downward spiral on their watch? At what point do we hold them accountable? Or do we continue to allow them to point the finger across the aisle at what ‘white folks’ do instead of focusing on the fact that 1. what white folks are doing is happening on their watch 2. white folks are doing what they allow white folks to do and 3. their ineffectiveness in preventing any of it from happening in the first place or effectively responding to it after the fact. Black leaders are not trying to have these conversations…
