Lets recap…. New black police chief… high crime, record murders, over policing certain areas of the city. Same record as his white predecessors. New black Public Safety Director… Took the MLK holiday to blame black people for conditions created by generations of Democratic rule, neglect, racism and oppression. New black Circuit Attorney…did not follow Ferguson Report recommendations, doesn’t use the power of her office to dismantle the oppressive bail system, doubles down on fuckery against poor black defendants Black aldermen… refuse to go after Paul Mckee. Votes to give police more than half of the city’s budget despite continued rise in crime. Spends millions to put fancy street lights on blighted streets instead of investing in people in their wards puttin in work… lets not forget splitting the black vote and paving a lane for Lyda Krewson. Misc black leaders… caping for Claire McCaskill, voting with police against the community, stuck in survival mode now that the number of wards are being reduced. None of this speaks to black interest, puts black people in a better position or is a blueprint for black empowerment.
