Lemme reiterate, I don’t have a horse in the race for all the reasons expressed in my first post this morning. But I am watching and taking notes.. for the same reasons expressed in that post. I can talk about incumbents, they have records… I’ve seen them in action. Don’t really have much to say about the challengers, most don’t have records I can go on and those who do, their records are not that much diff from those they’re running to replace. When it comes to the ‘change’ candidates what I go on is whether they have a plan specifically for the community/people they want to represent… not some generic plan for everybody and whether they will answer the tough questions people like me are asking on behalf of our community the same way they engage white establishment media to convince white folks to vote for them. The answer in both instances is no.
