It is incomprehensible that given everything we’re facing, not one black leader, candidate or person of interest has presented a black agenda at the local, state or national level. The same is true for the black clergy, these grant hustling black orgs that use black activists to rally for everything except empowering the black collective. Marinate on that. Increased minimum wage and bail reform while needed are not a blueprint for black progression. Neither pushes back at the racial wealth disparity diverts the fruits of our labor back into our community or puts the collective in a better position to deal with the many issues that are unique to us.
