Previous Post Now on to local posts… St. Louis is gonna be St. Louis, regardless. Deeply rooted issues, racial divisions and the inability of regional leaders to get beyond any of it in order to put what’s best for the community first continues to put lives at risk. The region is at the bottom of every quality of life social indicator and bears the distinction of being the most dangerous, most violent and murder capital for these very reasons. The region’s ills, divisions and clicks go back hundreds of years, the only things that change are the faces of the white Democrat establishment/progressive machines & their negro minions and the black misleadership/gatekeeper/overseer class… both of which exploit black deaths, pain and suffering. And sabotage anyone who refuses to play the game or tries to work outside that paradigm. Fragmentation (a city, separate county with 90 municipalies) is hindering the response to the pandemic. Too many chiefs and too much freestyling at at time they should be united and moving as one. At one point St. Louis boasted the 4th largest population in the nation behind NY, LA and Chicago. Corruption, racism and the failures of the aforementioned in the previous paragraph have resulted in the exodus of hundreds of thousands of residents, blighted neighborhoods, unaccredited school systems, 2 NFL franchises, a NBA franchise leaving town, the loss of corporations headquartered here, thousands of good paying jobs, 2 uprisings and becoming the national face of police brutality. St. Louis could easily become the next hotspot. It’s going to be hard, if not impossible for current leaders black or white regain trust and get the ear of constituents after decades of failures, neglect and indifference.
