Final thoughts on the Women’s March… and this can also apply to Palestine and immigration…. I’m not suggesting these are not worthy issues, but fam, we gotta stop jumping out in front of and lending energy to issues that are not pressing to our community. We have to prioritize, put 110%!o(MISSING)f our energy into what directly impacts us and our communities on a day to day. Intersectionality, ‘standing in solidarity’ and diversity IS NOT WORKING. In most instances we end up experiencing the same racism in those movements as we’re already fighting, being made a scapegoat for homophobia or become the face of antisemitism… We get throwed off, put on the defensive and are forced to defend these allegations… diverting our energy from organizing and mobilzing our energy into what directly impacts us and our community on a day to day…. This is not a plan for changing our condition.
