Previous Post When I put out the call to create our own media, I could have easily limited the scope to self, amplifying my own voice and competed with others. I didn’t do any of that. Because I realized the issues facing us were bigger than me, bigger than one voice and finding solutions would require a variety of conversations and discussions… opinions, views and perspectives. Vision, forward thinking and thinking outside the box in platforms we own and control. Malcolm said “By any means necessary”, meaning everything is on the table. It’s time for serious conversation. Here’s the thing fam, we cannot have these conversations on platforms we don’t own or control. We’re already being censored, terminated and labeled black identity extremists. And this is just the beginning. Imagine the pushback once we’re really organized and have our own systems and institutions… exactly, the very reason black voices are under attack.
