Investing $8 million in much needed resources, social programs that actually impact people directly and in influencers who have the eyes and ears of our young people and the streets would. Have they learned nothing from Better Family Life? For all the millions they got all we have to show for it is those depressing “We must stop killing each other” yard signs.

Next Post Over 300 police officers were named in a police brutality lawsuit stemming from the Stockley protests, the laaaaast thing they need to do is to inject officers who are not from the community into neighborhoods that are distrustful of police due to racism, police brutality, unjust murder of unarmed black people, lawlessness and corruption in the police force.<br><br>A residency requirement isn’t the reason STLPD is having trouble hiring officers, it’s racism within the department and City Hall AND refusal of Kim Gardner to actually prosecute crimes. No one wants to be part of any of that. <br><br>Law abiding people who live here don’t want to live here, the city’s population has decreased over 60% since 1900, the result of racism and oppression coming out of City Hall… people are fleeing in droves.
