We are at a time where black people are finally disengaging from the system, talking about building and moving independent of the Democrat Party. <br><br>We were not moved by the midterm elections… now both parties are scrambling, Democrats to show that they can be as oppressive/racists as Republicans and Republicans showing Democrats up with prison reform, Dems counter with granting Mumia’s appeal and Republicans responding by releasing Cyntoia Brown. None of them care about us, they’re playing political poker, our issues are poker chips. <br><br>We’ll take whatever we can get, but do not confuse any of this with progress. This, like ‘reform’ is designed to keep you engaged and to keep hope alive.

Cyntoia Brown was convicted of first-degree murder after she fatally shot a man when she was 16.
