We have so many, big and small, symbolic and substantive, black and white, justified and faux, this just happens to be the latest… Til the next.<br><br>Much is being said about #archsowhite, most of which are things we already know. I’m still trying to wrap my head around why this particular ribbon cutting ceremony was the source of angst for black leaders when it was no different from any other ribbon cutting ceremony. One would think if they took offense at any ribbon cutting ceremony it would have been this one on the grounds of the infamous Quiktrip when the Urban League teamed up with Centene to feast off the spoils of black youth who stood against oppression and sparked the wave of activism we see in this country today… young people who ushered in the 2nd wave of the Civil Rights Era. <br><br>Where are black leaders in this photo? More important, where are the black youth? There was no 2nd ribbon cutting ceremony for them. There was no outrage.
