And another thing… black celebrity and capitalism will not save us. See how quick their media shut everybody down? The NBA, Jay, Kaep, Killer Mike, Snoop, TI, Kim & Kanye, Gabby & D Wade, Jada??? See how irrelevant black celebrity is today? Especially now that people are dealing with real life and not escapism or living vicariously through them. Also note none of them are passing out masks, hand soap or sanitizer in the hood. But they’re quick to pass out turkeys tho.

SMH at those who convinced themselves Patrisse, Deray, Shaun King and their Ferguson mascots were the new Malcolms, Chairman Freds and Assatas that would lead us to the promised land instead of back into the grip of their financial backers and Democrat voting booth. Black Lives Matter, yet where are they today while black folks are dealing with the coronavirus? All the millions they took in and they’re not even passing out hand sanitizer. Where are all the anointed leaders and mascots? I don’t see them issue jumping to help those most vulnerable in our community during this time of crisis.

Next Post What gets me most about us is after everything we experienced since taking to the streets during Ferguson, so many still fall for the okie doke. Still refuse to study or build. Still prefer begging, bowing down and bending over. Especially after seeing how quick they can shut us down in their news outlets, on their social media and in their leagues.
