A review or new trial is a good start… given the depth of racism exposed in regional law enforcement all convictions of black people going as far back as possible should be reviewed. And in cases where prosecutorial misconduct could be proven, the perpetrators tried and punished. But not by the Circuit Attorney’s office or any entity that answers to the Circuit Attorney’s office. Or police department. Or City Hall.
