A few random observations… On one hand, we’re still dealing with, “Black people, we are going to have to be patient with our fellow black people. They are still scared of white people. Normalize publicly standing up to white people for black communities, and it’ll show everyone that it’s okay to be free. For a lot of black folks, that’s still an open question because of mass incarceration, the assassinations of free Negroes of a previous generation, and the propaganda around soft skills as the way forward. And for the love of all that is good, don’t let anyone force you to look up to Obama. We don’t need more Obamas. We didn’t even need the last one. Look up to Fred Hampton, instead.” – Irami Osei Frimpong
